Congressional Research Service
The Congressional Research Service provides "all sides of the issue" reports for members of Congress. This site focuses on documents that spotlight international issues. The reports go back at least five years and provide a good overview of U.S. thinking about issues that range from Iraq to nuclear weapons.

Copenhagen Peace Research Institute (COPRI) 
The purpose of COPRI is to stimulate debate and research on international key issues related to Peace and Security Studies. The institute does this through research, seminars, publications and news.

Council on Foreign Relations (CFR)
The Council is a nonpartisan think-tank dedicated to helping its

ICONS Project
ICONS (the International Communication and Negotiation Simulations) offers educational simulations of international relations at both the university and high school levels. Students at a participating institution represent the decision makers of a selected country and negotiate solutions to global problems via the Internet with peers around the world.

INCORE: Ethnic Conflict on the Internet 
The Initiative on Conflict Resolution and Ethnicity was set up in 1993 by the University of Ulster and the United Nations University to undertake research and policy work that is useful to the resolution of ethnic, political and religious conflicts.

An independent publication from the
Fridtjof Nansen Institute in Norway, published by EarthScan.
